[HISTORICAL BUILDING RENOVATION]

The existing carburetor manufacturing structure constructed in 1910 involved an exterior rehabilitation utilizing Historic Tax Credits. Extensive masonry preservation with a complete window replacement enhances the artist's loft structure.

The project includes 36 artist live/work studios, a performance theater, artist labs, retail store, artist foundation offices and a kitchen/diner. Gallery spaces slide throughout the structure and act as a changing backdrop for the building.

Artists are able to work on artwork in their studios. The building has monthly open houses allowing their work to be showcased. Units range in size from 750 sq. ft. to 1,100 sq. ft. and possess a service core which provides a kitchen, restroom and storage area.
